The Ravens’ and 49ers’ respective prime-time showdowns this week turned into duds as Baltimore and San Francisco established themselves as Super Bowl favorites with routs of the Rams and Packers, respectively.
So when the 49ers take their vaunted defense to Baltimore on Sunday to try to stop — or at least slow down — MVP candidate Lamar Jackson, it may be the game of the year in the NFL.
Just not in New York.
Though half of the NFL’s 16 Week 13 games will be on TV in New York, thanks to the three nationally televised games on Thanksgiving Day, 49ers-Ravens won’t be one of them. It kicks off at 1 p.m. Sunday on Fox — the same time as the Jets and Giants games.
With the Patriots and Texans in a crucial primetime battle and CBS having the national window at 4 p.m., Baltimore and San Francisco stayed at 1 p.m.
So instead of a possible Super Bowl preview, New York viewers get to pick between Jets-Bengals and Giants-Packers.
