It wasn’t all bad for a certain Cowboys fan Sunday.

During San Francisco’s dominant 42-10 win over Dallas on “Sunday Night Football,” a 49ers supporter proposed to his now-fiancée, who rocked Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott’s No. 4 jersey at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif.

NBC cameras caught the intimate moment when the future groom got down on one knee in a red, No. 23 Christian McCaffrey 49ers jersey.

“She said ‘yes,’ the crowd around them went wild,” Mike Tirico recapped on the “Sunday Night Football” broadcast.

Tirico’s on-air partner, Cris Collinsworth, then joked about how things could have unfolded had the tables turned in Dallas’ favor.

“Would he have done it if the Cowboys had won? I don’t think so,” Collinsworth said. “I think he’s holding the ring. You can’t start a marriage like that, with her having the upper hand. But 49ers win, ‘Here you go, let’s get married.'”

The Cowboys fan appeared to be in complete shock and later shared a kiss with the groom-to-be.

Though there were plenty of sparks flying in the stands, it was all 49ers from start to finish Sunday night.

Second-year quarterback Brock Purdy turned in a stellar performance, throwing for 252 yards, four touchdowns and zero interceptions.

Meanwhile, Prescott threw three interceptions in a rematch of last season’s Divisional Round playoff clash. Back in January, the 49ers topped the Cowboys, 19-12, en route to the NFC Championship Game.

With Sunday’s win, the 49ers and Eagles are the only two undefeated teams with 5-0 records.

Dallas has now dropped two of its past three games, including a stunning 28-16 loss to the Cardinals in Week 3. The Cowboys will visit the Chargers next week on “Monday Night Football.”
