But this isn’t the NFL — it’s the Alliance of American Football.
The fledgling AAF began its inaugural season Saturday night, and a crushing quarterback hit that wasn’t flagged won over fans on Twitter.
Early in one of the two opening night games, the San Antonio Commanders’ Shaan Washington took off San Diego Fleet quarterback Mike Bercovici’s helmet with a massive hit that incredibly was deemed a legal hit.
