Aaron Rodgers continues to tip-toe around the subject of his mysterious toe injury, providing ex-teammate AJ Hawk a chance to poke fun at the quarterback’s recent Joe Rogan revelation.
During his weekly appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” Tuesday, the Packers quarterback was pressed about an unspecified toe injury he was listed as having ahead of Sunday’s win over the Seahawks.
At one point Hawk, McAfee’s co-host who won Super Bowl XLV with Rodgers, asked the QB, “I read somewhere where you and [Joe] Rogan were smoking DMT [a hallucinogenic drug] over a virtual session… is there any truth to that?”
Rodgers laughed and said, “I can’t confirm or deny that.”
Earlier this month, Rodgers appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” and said he consulted his “now-good friend” Rogan about treatments for COVID-19. He also confirmed he is unvaccinated.
Rodgers said at the time, “I’ve been taking monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, zinc, Vitamin C and D, and HCQ and I feel pretty incredible.”
Rogan, the podcaster, comedian and UFC commentator, announced on Instagram in September that he had tested positive for COVID-19, and took ivermectin.

Rodgers was activated Saturday off the COVID-19 list after isolating for 10 days and played in Sunday’s game despite the toe woe.
When McAfee asked how he injured his toe, Rodgers said, “That was a COVID injury. It’s a little painful but I think I’ll be ok. I was able to run around a little bit on Sunday.”
McAfee continued to press Rodgers about the cause of his toe injury, but the quarterback played coy.

While discussing his return after COVID-19, Rodgers said he “felt good from the start” in Sunday’s 17-0 win over Seattle.
