Another Giant In Trouble
Geoffrey Pope, a backup cornerback for the Giants, was arrested in his hometown of Detroit.
Pope reportedly broke a champagne bottle over another man’s head while at a nightclub.
According to WDIV in the Motor City Pope could be charged with felonious assault, a four-year felony. Police said he is allowed to return to New York, but must turn himself in and return for trial if he is charged.
Pope was home to show off his Super Bowl ring to his grandmother. A week ago Giants’ running back Ahmad Bradshaw was jailed in Virginia for violating his probation.
