Ohio State defensive back Malcolm Jenkins said on Sirius radio today that he will work out for the Jets. Jenkins is considered the best defensive back in the draft and there is debate whether he’ll be a cornerback or a safety. He probably will be gone by the time the Jets draft at 17.

The Jets traded for Lito Sheppard and signed Jim Leonhard to strengthen their secondary, a major weakness last season. They probably need to address other areas in the first round (SOMEONE REMIND REX ABOUT THE OFFENSE) of the draft and maybe take a DB later on.
