Hundreds of thousands of Antonio Brown’s Instagram followers are vying for a chance to win the only touchdown football he caught for the Patriots — even though the bizarre contest may be just the idle prank of a bored, out-of-work NFL star.

The beleaguered Brown posted a photo of the ball early Saturday, with the caption “One lucky fan can win this comment below.”

Some 200,000 comments had poured a full day later — some asking to win the very vague contest and others offering mostly supportive comments.  A half-million Instagrammers had liked the post.

The ball is labeled “AB 17 1st TD Rec 9/15/19,” and was thrown 20 yards by Tom Brady. Brown caught the touchdown pass at the end of the second quarter, giving the Pats a 13-0 lead over the Miami Dolphins.

Less than a week later, his promising career with the team was derailed when he was accused in a civil lawsuit of raping a former personal trainer.
