JuJu Smith-Schuster is still in Pittsburgh, making it no real surprise that he publicly supports Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger.
It’s also no shock whenever Antonio Brown has something to say about his former team, as the traded receiver seemingly did in response to Smith-Schuster’s endorsement of Big Ben.
“Do not listen to any NFL player who haven’t got paid yet!” Brown tweeted Tuesday. “They will do and say anything to make sure they going to get paid even if it’s compromising integrity or anything ! sad but true.”
Brown has been openly critical of Roethlisberger and the Steelers’ organization before and since being traded to Oakland earlier this month for two draft picks.
In his second NFL season, Smith-Schuster totaled 111 receptions — seven more than Brown last season — for 1,426 yards and seven touchdowns.
“I was so blessed to enter the league and play with a Hall of Fame QB as a 20-year old,” Smith-Schuster tweeted, referring to Roethlisberger. “Ben has taught me so much, he’s a true Leader and I can’t wait to rock with my guy this season.”
