Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown was ruled out for Sunday’s playoff game against the Broncos due to a concussion.

Which means Pacman Jones’ apology should be coming any minute, right?

Update: Yep, here it is!

Brown suffered the brain injury in last weekend’s shocking last-minute victory over the Bengals, when he was hit in the helmet by rampaging linebacker Vontaze Burfict.

In the aftermath, Jones — who also was assessed a personal foul during the wild sequence that allowed the Steelers to move on — accused Brown of faking the injury and winking at him while lying prone on the field.

“I know he was faking,” Jones said Monday on the Dan Patrick radio show. “I think he needs a Grammy Award for that one.”

Jones was roundly rebuked for making light of concussions, and said he would apologize only if the head trauma forced Brown to miss the divisional round game.

“I will, if he don’t play,” Jones said in an interview with Brandon Marshall on “Inside the NFL” that aired Tuesday. “But you know and I know that when [Sunday] gets here, all that will go out the window. … He will be cleared Friday, I promise you.”

Brown’s absence is a debilitating blow for the Steelers offense. The 27-year-old All-Pro posted 136 catches, 1,834 yards and 10 touchdowns during the regular season. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for the first time all week Friday as he recovers from a sprained right shoulder (also courtesy of Burfict), and the Steelers are down to their third- and fourth-string running backs as DeAngelo Williams remains out for the uphill clash in Denver.
