A season that finished 3-13 and did not bring him to the finish line has tanked Ben McAdoo’s stock.

The deposed Giants head coach is among the choices for the Broncos’ quarterbacks coach, according to 9News in Denver, but is still looking for an offensive coordinator position.

McAdoo is joined on the Broncos radar by former Bengals offensive coordinator Ken Zampese, who worked with Denver head coach Vance Joseph in Cincinnati.

McAdoo worked on the 49ers staff with Joseph in 2005, when McAdoo was assistant offensive line coach and Vance was the assistant secondary coach. McAdoo left the next season for Green Bay, where he went from tight end coach to QB coach, before moving to New York in 2014 as the Giants’ offensive coordinator and, two years later, winning the head coaching job.

Now, after the Giants imploded this season and McAdoo was fired after Week 13, he may have to drop down the NFL ladder a few rungs.

The Broncos are seeking an experienced coach to guide their next signal-caller. They own the No. 5 pick in the draft and have Brock Osweiler, Trevor Siemian and Paxton Lynch on the roster.
