Bengals wide receiver Auden Tate reportedly avoided major injury after being taken off the field on a stretcher following a scary hit Sunday in Oakland.

Tate was in a neck brace after the game, and will fly home with the team, according to a local Fox affiliate.

The 22-year-old will be re-evaluated Monday, according to NFL Network, but the outlet said it’s hopeful Tate didn’t suffer a major injury.

Tate laid motionless on his back after getting tackled in the head area by Raiders’ safety Curtis Riley, but gave fans a thumbs up and appeared to have full movement in his extremities while being carried off on a stretcher.

Riley was not penalized on the play.
