Bengals cornerback Eli Apple wrapped up his playoff weekend by dumping on his former teams.
Apple, who was drafted 10th overall by the Giants in 2016 before being traded to the Saints two years later, shredded those two organizations Sunday night on Twitter, saying it’s a “toss up” over which fans he loathes more.
“Idk which fan base I hate more,” the 26-year-old tweeted, “prolly the saints but It’s close wit the giants it’s a toss up.”
Apple, whose Bengals will face the Chiefs in Sunday’s AFC Championship game, also tore into the city of New Orleans, where he played from 2018-19.
“New Orleans is the dirtiest smelliest city and has the worst food ever,” Apple wrote. “it’s that swine and crawfish thts killin yall brains.”

Elsewhere in his Twitter tantrum, the zero-time Pro Bowl selection also weighed in on the New York media, stating, “The giants reporters hate me more too I think you right.”
Apple’s nightmarish second season in New York made headlines during the Giants’ 2017 season, in which his former teammate, safety Landon Collins, called him a “cancer.” He was later suspended for the final week of the season “for a pattern of behavior that is conduct detrimental to the team,” assistant general manager Kevin Abrams said at the time.

“Eli getting all the revenge this season from all he’s taken over the years. I love the villain role. We on top,” one fan wrote, to which Apple replied, “Being the hero is overrated, im here to terrorize cities and crush opposing wrs dreams and hopes.. truly grateful to God for providing all he has for me.”
