What else is there to even say at this point? The Giants are a terrible football team.

After losing to the Chargers 37-21 on Sunday, they have clinched their fifth straight losing season. Joe Judge’s seat continues getting hotter. It’s no longer a given that he will be the Giants head coach next season. This team is not progressing, it’s actually getting worse.

To talk about Sunday’s loss and the direction of the team, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes and Paul Schwartz. Former Giants cornerback Terrell Thomas joined the show.

Blue Rush Podcast with Paul, Lawrence & Jake:

  • EMBARRASSING LOSS: Giants went away from the run too early. The late two touchdowns were garbage-time points. They had a questionable special teams strategy on the fake punt. Justin Herbert made a mockery of the defense.
  • JUDGE’S FUTURE: Judge is on the hot seat. Through 29 games, he’s 10-19. Seems like he is meddling in too many parts of this team. We play his postgame comments talking about progress and long-term. The team has not improved as he says it has. He continues confusing people with his postgame pressers.

Terrell Thomas Interview: Former Giants cornerback, Super Bowl 46 champion (2008-2013)

  • IDENTITY: Giants have lost their identity since his teams. Something has got to change. Not sure what the Giants represent anymore.
  • COUGHLIN TIME: Still sets clocks five minutes early.
  • TORN ACLS: How did he come back from three torn ACLs?
