The Giants have a huge Thanksgiving matchup ahead against the Cowboys in Dallas — but there’s still a game before that.

The Giants should not overlook Sunday’s game against the Lions. Don’t let the 3-6 record fool you; Detroit has won back-to-back games and have scored more than 30 points four times this season.

This isn’t a cake walk at MetLife Stadium.

To preview Giants-Lions, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz and Brandon London. Super Bowl champion Giants ex-running back Derrick Ward stops by as well as Lions team reporter Dannie Rogers.

“Blue Rush” Podcast with Lawrence Tynes, Paul Schwartz & Brandon London:

  • LIONS at GIANTS PREVIEW: Former Giants tight end Dan Campbell returns to East Rutherford, this time as the Lions head coach. Giants can’t take this Lions team lightly. They have won two straight and have played plenty of tight games. This won’t be an easy win, but this is a game the Giants need to win before the schedule gets tougher with four straight divisional games. That includes a game just four days later on Thanksgiving in Dallas. Giants getting some key offensive lineman back and have some strong depth there.
  • DERRICK WARD INTERVIEW: The Super Bowl 42 champion Giants running back talks Saquon Barkley’s contract, workload and the Giants new regime.
  • KNOW YOUR ENEMY: Lions team reporter Dannie Rogers stops by to give the Lions angle of the game.
  • PREDICTIONS: The crew goes through some over/under on key stats before making their game predictions. Lawrence takes the Giants 25-16. Paul shocks everyone picking the Lions to upset Big Blue 28-27. Brandon is taking the Giants.
