Banged up ankle. Bloody hand. No problem.
Daniel Jones showed toughness and grit on Sunday in London in the Giants’ 27-22 win, getting the team to 4-1.
Nobody picked the Giants. They saw who Jones was throwing to and didn’t give Big Blue a chance over Aaron Rodgers and the previously 3-1 Packers. Jones, Saquon Barkley and the Giants defense of course took care of business in another country to silence the critics.
Being 4-1 is 4-1 no matter how it has looked. Brian Daboll continues to show why this new regime means business and why the Giants will fight for a playoff spot this season. To break down the Giants’ victory in London, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes and Brandon London.
Blue Rush Podcast with Brandon London & Lawrence Tynes:
- GUTSY DJ: Impressive showing from Daniel Jones. He didn’t have much to throw to, but he made big time throws when they needed it after a slow start to the game. He is earning the respect of Giants nation.
- LONDON: Crowd was there moreso for the Packers. Not an easy environment for the Giants to play in against a good football team.
- CULTURE WIN: Coach Daboll was hyped after the win. The culture has clearly changed and they have shifted ways in how things are done in the organization. The relationship in the locker room is different this year.
- DABOLL: The Giants found the right guy. He’s a great coach and players play hard for him.
