Braxton Berrios’ offseason is off to a hot start.
After learning Friday that he had been named First-Team All-Pro as a kick returner by the Associated Press, the Jets receiver, 26, got the celebration started in Mexico with girlfriend Sophia Culpo. Joined by her family, including older sister Olivia Culpo and her boyfriend — Panthers running back Christian McCaffrey — the group dined in style as Berrios enjoyed a fiery dessert.

In a separate post, Olivia, 29, showcased a plate Berrios had received which featured the message, “Braxton congratulations to be the No. 1 !!!!”
Following the evening out, Berrios and Sophia, 25, enjoyed an afternoon boat trip Saturday. The couple — who made their relationship public in early 2021 — appeared to coordinate their swimwear as Berrios sported blue and white checkered shorts while Sophia opted for a baby blue bikini.

Berrios, meanwhile, had a breakout third season with the Jets, becoming a favorite target of rookie quarterback Zach Wilson. He also led the NFL with 30.4 yards per kickoff return and had a monster 102-yard return for a touchdown in a Week 16 win over the Jaguars.
The impending free agent previously expressed his desire to remain in New York.

“I’ve said it before, I love the organization here. The coaching staff, the people in the locker room, the chefs, the trainers, through and through. Obviously that is well on the table. I’d love to be here. But that’s something for I guess Jan. 10 and moving on.”
In the meantime, Berrios and his favorite fan will likely continue to soak up the sun and celebrate his latest NFL honor.
