As if the Buccaneers weren’t loaded enough already, Tom Brady and company added yet another offseason weapon.

After Tampa Bay was able to bring back all 22 of its starters from their Super Bowl roster, the team agreed to a deal with former Bengals running back Giovani Bernard, according to multiple reports.

Cincinnati released Bernard after eight seasons with the team, in which he accrued 6,564 total yards and 33 total touchdowns. The 29-year-old signed a one-year deal, according to ESPN.

Bernard adds to an already-crowded backfield in Tampa, which includes Ronald Jones, Leonard Fournette and second-year player Ke’Shawn Vaughn. Bernard is expected to have a role as a pass-catcher, having logged 2,867 receiving yards in his career.
