Perhaps the best known Mr. Irrelevant announced this year’s version.

Titans kicker Ryan Succop, who was taken with the last pick of the 2009 NFL Draft by the Chiefs, announced the Cardinals had selected UCLA tight end Caleb Wilson with the final pick of this draft Saturday afternoon.

“I just embrace it,” Wilson said on a conference call, according to ESPN.com. “All I needed was my name to get called and the opportunity. It’s a lifelong dream as a kid to be picked in the NFL draft, so just to see my name pop up on the screen and the happiness on my family’s face. I just embraced it all. It’s an honor, to be honest.”

It’s an honor not many Mr. Irrelevants have been able to capitalize on, with few establishing long NFL careers. Succop is an exception as one of the most consistent kickers in the game for two franchises. Wilson, who had 60 catches for 965 yards last season for the Bruins, started his college career at USC before transferring to its rivals.

“Really liked his character, his intangibles, what he brings to the table on and off the field,” Cardinals general manager Steve Keim said of Wilson.

Here are a list of the Mr. Irrelevants between Succop and Wilson:

2010: Tim Toone, WR Lions
2011: Cheta Ozougwu, DE Texans
2012: Chandler Harnish, QB Colts
2013: Justice Cunningham, TE Colts
2014: Lonnie Ballentine, S Colts
2015: Gerald Christian, TE Cardinals
2016: Kalan Reed, CB Texans
2017: Chad Kelly, QB Broncos
2018: Trey Quinn, WR Redskins
