The Broncos saved some of their hardest hits on Cam Newton for after the game.

Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib and linebacker Danny Trevathan ripped the Panthers quarterback, who had his worst performance of the season in his team’s 24-10 Super Bowl defeat.

“That’s the way he is. Playing for himself,” Trevathan said, according to MMQB.com.

The Broncos sacked Newton seven times, forced him into two game-changing fumbles and a costly interception that ended a Panthers drive.

“There ain’t no Easter Bunny, there ain’t no Santa Claus, there ain’t no Superman,” Talib said, referring to Newton’s nickname.

Talib, who had an eventful string of postgame interviews, also told TSN: “Cam probably crying right now.”
