It was a case of poor timing — not one of mistaken identity.

The CBS football was discussing the Chiefs-Patriots matchup on Sunday when a picture that look an awful lot like Kansas City coach Andy Reid popped up in the background — only it was very clearly not him.

While some on social media quickly pointed to it as an error, it was instead a rotating photo montage that included cheerleaders, mascots and a fake Mike Ditka. It just so happened that while the CBS crew was talking about the Chiefs and Patriots, the Andy Reid doppelgänger (Chris Wilhelm, perhaps?) has his image hit the screen.

Just like a network procedural drama, this mystery wrapped up easily.
