Cleveland Plain Dealer columnist Terry Pluto says he expects the Browns to trade WR Braylon Edwards to the Giants, and replace him by drafting Texas Tech WR Michael Crabtree with the fifth pick in next weekend’s draft.

Pluto writes, the Browns “should make a deal that hopefully would bring the Browns the 29th pick, a lower-round draft choice and an all-around receiver/special teams player in University of Akron product Domenik Hixon.”

Eli Manning yesterday praised Edwards while saying he expects the Giants to add a No. 1 receiver around the time of the Draft, which begins next Saturday.
