Hopefully fans attending Super Bowl 2020 ate at home before the big game.

Those looking to enjoy food or drinks while watching Chiefs vs. 49ers Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami should be prepared to dig deep into their wallets. After paying thousands of dollars to get in the door, a burger will run you $16 and you’ll have to shell out $15 for a personal pizza or a bucket of popcorn.

Nearly every food option is pricey, with a chicken sandwich going for $14, a hot dog for $12 and nachos for $9. Oh, and $3 extra for cheese on the side. The one thing resembling a deal is a 32-ounce soft drink with free refills for $15.

It’s a 180-degree turn from last year’s Super Bowl at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, where a burger cost just $5.

Want to enjoy some beer, wine or liquor? You’ll have to cough up $24 for a double cocktail. A can of wine is $13 while a 19.2-ounce can of premium beer is $18. It’s $14 for a bottle of 16-ounce beer and a dollar more for an imported one.
