Cowboys cheerleader Michelle Siemienowski is reflecting on her “whirlwind,” when she was thrust into the national spotlight Sunday after being drilled in the head by a ball off the foot of Dallas kicker Brandon Aubrey.

In a post shared Monday on her Instagram Stories, the first-year cheerleader reassured fans she’s doing “okay” following the incident, and revealed Aubrey, 29, penned a heartfelt apology note on a game-day guide for the Cowboys’ season-finale loss to the Commanders.

“This past 24 hours has been a whirlwind!” Siemienowski began. “I got a ton of messages and I wanted to thank you all for checking in and for your kind words! I am all okay, so no need to worry!

“Also… Thank you @baubs10 for this apology note! I was told he wanted to come find me on the field after the incident, but unfortunately I kept moving around the field. He was so kind to write me a note anyways!”

Siemienowski added there are “no hard feelings” with Aubrey, and his note serves as a “souvenir for my last game of my rookie season!”

She concluded her message by congratulating Aubrey on breaking the Cowboys’ single-season record for made field goals.

Aubrey went 4-for-4 on Sunday, becoming the fifth kicker in league history to make 40-plus field goals in a single season.

The kick drama involving Aubrey transpired in the first half of Sunday’s game at AT&T Stadium, where the ball veered to the sideline and collided with Siemienoski, despite a cameraman’s efforts to deflect the ball’s path.

Siemienoski fell forward to the ground before quickly getting back on her feet as fellow cheerleaders and Commanders punter Tress Way checked in on her.

A California native, Siemienowski made the Cowboys’ squad in July 2024.

“Thank you God, for I have prayed every single day for this blessed new chapter of my life. This has been the most life changing experience, but this is only the beginning. I am so grateful to say that I achieved my dreams and earned my boots!” she gushed on Instagram at the time.

“I am so excited to represent the most amazing organization and get the opportunity to cheer on America’s Team!”

The Cowboys finished their 2024 campaign at a disappointing 7-10.
