ESPN.com reports the Cowboys are considering options at quarterback other than Brad Johnson, who has taken over in the absence of injured Tony Romo, for Sunday’s game against the Giants.

Former Jets QB Brooks Bollinger is behind Johnson on the team’s depth chart. ESPN’s source says Johnson probably will start.

Also, Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said the status of TE Jason Witten, who injured his ribs Sunday against the Buccaneers, is uncertain.
