It seems Dolphins linebacker Channing Crowder has called a cease fire in his verbal battle with Rex Ryan.

The Miami Herald reports Crowder yesterday told reporters: ”This is over. I’m done with this victory. I’m going to save the head coach the embarrassment of arguing with an opposing player to the media. We play twice this season, so we’ll see who the better team is then.”

The teams’ first meeting is Oct. 12 in Miami on “Monday NIght Football.” The rematch is Nov. 1 at the Meadowlands.
