Jerry Jones brushed off any of the “dirt” Dan Snyder has on him.
The Cowboys owner commented on the alleged rift with the Washington Commanders boss and said any beef between him and Snyder is “news to me” during a Friday radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan.
According to a groundbreaking ESPN report, Snyder, who has been Washington’s owner since 1999, is in the middle of a fight to keep his scandal-scarred franchise and has enough information to “blow up” several owners, including Jones, who is a close friend of Snyder’s.
Nevertheless, the Commanders owner has kept a low-key profile this season as his wife runs the franchise amid myriad off-field controversies.
The NFL and Congress investigated the franchise’s toxic workplace, and the owner was fined $10 million.
Despite Snyder being “backed into a corner” because of the controversies, he’s still not officially on the chopping block to being voted out of ownership. His removal is not on the agenda for next Tuesday’s owner’s meeting, according to ESPN.
