Danny Dimes is cashing in again, with another team ready to back up the Brink’s truck with a hefty payday.
Colts quarterback Daniel Jones agreed to a two-year, $88 million contract that could be worth as much as $100 million if incentives are hit, NFL Network reported.
Jones appears to have received what he had been seeking — $50 million per year if he can be available for Indianapolis as he recovers from a torn Achilles.
The Colts initially offered three years and $100.5 million, leaving significant ground to make up in a new deal for the former Giants quarterback.

Jones will receive $100,000 in bonuses for each game the team wins with him playing at least 50 percent of snaps — and up to a total of $6 million in incentives.
The contract also includes a $60 million injury guarantee.
Jones will be the league’s 12th-highest-paid quarterback in terms of average annual value this season.
The Colts are also set to re-sign wide receiver Alec Pierce to a massive contract extension after a strong season last year, with reports also indicating that Jones’ presence in Indianapolis significantly influenced Pierce’s free agency.
Indianapolis started last season 8-1 with Jones leading the way after he won a preseason QB competition with Anthony Richardson.

His season was cut short due to a torn Achilles tendon during Week 14 against the Jaguars when he went down in a noncontact injury.
The initial recovery prognosis was six to eight months, which will affect his availability for training camp and potentially the start of the season.
Jones has career earnings of $122.8 million, according to Spotrac, most of which was paid by the Giants.
Big Blue drafted Jones in the first round in 2019 and extended him with a four-year, $160 million contract after making the playoffs in 2022.
Jones was cut by the Giants near the end of the 2024 season, and then signed with the Vikings and was mostly a practice squad third-stringer in Minnesota.
