Le’Veon Bell may be California dreaming.
After Antonio Brown’s move to Oakland went down on Saturday, the soon-to-be free agent, who sat out the entire 2018 season, is keeping tabs on his former teammate’s new squad via social media.
Not only is Bell, 27, following Raiders quarterback Derek Carr on Twitter, but the signal-caller is checking in on his tweets, too. In the aftermath of the Brown trade, Carr pushed the “follow” button on Bell.
And while Carr, also 27, already has told his new target Brown, 30, “let’s get to work,” buzz about Bell also heading to the West Coast isn’t new.
Back in January, the Monday Morning Quarterback’s Peter King predicted the Raiders could be a player for Bell, who also will be coveted by the Jets.
As for Brown, it appears he’s already put quarterback Ben Roethlisberger and Pittsburgh in the rearview mirror.
