The Philadelphia Eagles have jumped into the mix for DT Dewayne Robertson, though the Philadelphia Daily News calls a possible trade a long shot.
The Delaware Journal News had reported that Robertson recently visited the Eagles’ training facility to take a physical. The Denver Post had reported the Broncos hoped to use one of their late-round picks to acquire Robertson.
The Rocky Mountain News reported the Broncos still had interest in Robertson, but trading a draft pick was not likely because of Robertson’s troublesome knees.
The paper said Robertson failed a physical given by the Broncos, yet may puruse him again if the Jets released him.
