A social distancing faux pas is sparking rumors that Dez Bryant and Dak Prescott could be getting the band back together Dallas.

The out-of-work wide receiver posted a photo on Thursday posing arm-in-arm with four other players, one of whom was Cowboys QB Prescott, in the midst of the  coronavirus pandemic.

“@ dak lance Fred .. we got great work in today” Bryant wrote on Twitter. “@dak and myself just finished a great workout session.. picked up where we left off”

NFL’s Jane Slater reported that “the two are working out again on Saturday as both continue their offseason training. One looking for a new long term contract, the other looking for a team.”

Bryant has not played in a game since 2017, but believes he can still “do damage.”

The 2010 NFL Draft first rounder spent eight seasons as a member of the Cowboys and recorded 531 catches for 7,459 yards and 73 touchdowns.

Bryant was cut in April 2018, saving the team $8.5 million in cap space. He signed a one-year deal with the Saints, but tore his Achilles tendon just two days later and spent the 2019 season looking for a new home.

Since his release, the 31-year-old has lashed out at his former squad on multiple occasions over social media.

“I’ll see [you] guys twice this year,” Bryant wrote on Twitter, alluding that he hoped to sign with a NFC East rival. He also called the ordeal, “scapegoat s–t,” blaming their lack of success on “garbage a– play calling” and called owner Jerry Jones “clueless.”

Earlier this offseason, Bryant texted Cowboys vice president Stephen Jones, son of owner Jerry Jones, that he would like to return to the team. Despite the bad blood between the two parties, the younger Jones didn’t entirely rule it out.

“We have nothing but great respect for Dez and what he accomplished here,” Jones told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “Certainly, as we look forward into the future, we look at all opportunities and all potential players that could maybe help us out.”

Bryant would likely come at a low price tag after being out of the league for so long. If he were to reunite in Dallas, he would sit behind receivers Amari Cooper and Michael Gallup on the depth chart.
