Nothing quite like a refreshing Pepsi to help you stomach another pathetic Giants loss, right? Have to Watch Mike Glennon throw a floater in the end zone for an interception? Have no fear…here’s a medium, not a large, fountain soda! The Giants pulled off a Jets-ian move on Fan Appreciation Day with that one. They didn’t appreciate the fans enough to start Jake Fromm over Glennon and lost again to the Cowboys to fall to 4-10 during what has been a miserable 2021 season.
To dive into the Giants’ 21-6 loss to their division rival and talk free soda, we bring you a new episode of the “Blue Rush” podcast with Lawrence Tynes and Paul Schwartz. Practice squad legend, Giants Super Bowl 42 champion and MSG Network Giants host Brandon London joined the show.
Blue Rush Podcast with Paul, Lawrence & Jake:
- GLENNON/FROMM: We have seen enough from Glennon. Fromm must start next week and for the rest of the season if Daniel Jones is out. They waited too long to bring Fromm in on Sunday. Fromm looked good in the limited snaps he got at the end of the game.
- SODA: Laughable that the Giants gave a soda out…and a medium, not a large. If this was a winning team, it would not be a story. Because they are 4-10, it became a story.
- DEFENSE/SHEPARD: The defense held their own on Sunday and is doing its best. The offense is not putting the team in a good position to win. It’s also depleted with injuries and guys are filling in and doing a nice job. Sterling Shepard’s time with the Giants could be done after a torn achilles. He likely will miss most of next season potentially as well. Good player, but too many injuries.

- COVERING GIANTS: Getting harder and harder to cover this team as the losses pile up. It’s getting mentally taxing. Trying to make players and organization look as good as possible, but tough because fans can see through it.
- PRACTICE SQUAD LEGEND: Being on the practice squad the entire 2007 Super Bowl season and his mindset. Nearly losing his Super Bowl ring a few times on a few wild nights.
