DK Metcalf showed a masterclass in speed on “Thursday Night Football” — then he showed off skills from a completely different class.

With 7:36 left in the first quarter in what eventually turned into a thrilling 41-35 Dallas win, Geno Smith fired a pass over the middle to Metcalf, who caught the pass against two Cowboys defenders before sprinting past everyone for a 73-yard catch-and-run.

The play, impressive on first view, became even more noteworthy in the that it was the fastest a ball carrier ran (22.3 mph) this season, topping Tyreek Hill’s 22.01 mph from Week 5, according to NFL vice president of communications Brian McCarthy.

Metcalf’s speed was a sight in and of itself, but after the play, the 25-year-old receiver appeared to show off his American Sign Language (ASL) abilities.

Metcalf ran toward the back of the end zone and appeared to sign “stand on business,” per USA Today’s For The Win.

The Seattle star opened up earlier this season about how he’s turned to sign language as a celebration so he does not get fined by the league for any sort of taunting.

“I take ASL now on my off days. … I kept getting flagged for my mouthing, so got to sign my s–t talking now,” Metcalf said in October on “The Rich Eisen Show.” “That’s what I gotta do to keep myself busy. “

And on Nov. 19, Metcalf used his ASL knowledge to celebrate his touchdown catch against the Rams, with some speculating that he was calling out Los Angeles cornerback Akhello Witherspoon after the play.

Metcalf — who added a second touchdown grab in the waning seconds of the second quarter — finished the game with three scores against the Cowboys, reeling in six catches for 134 yards, which led all receivers in the Seattle loss.

Surely, the NFL world will await what he’ll sign next on his next touchdown.
