Frustrated Jaguars cornerback Jalen Ramsey might be getting his wish.

The Athletic reported Monday that the Eagles plan to pick up their pursuit of the two-time Pro Bowler. The Eagles came away from their 34-27 win over the Packers on Thursday night with even more reasons to pursue Ramsey, who reiterated earlier in the day that he wants out of Jacksonville.

“The Eagles will spend the next few days trying to pry Jalen Ramsey from the Jags, as they know their lack of coverage will prevent them from competing at the highest level,” former Browns GM Mike Lombardi wrote on the site. “The Eagles typically win with their defensive front dominating the game, but with all the injuries to their defensive line, the lack of pressure has highlighted their lack of talent in the secondary.”

It is believed that it will take at least one first-round draft pick and a handful of other picks to land the 24-year-old.

The Eagles lost cornerbacks Avonte Maddox, who was carted away on a stretcher in the fourth quarter, and Sidney Jones (hamstring) in the victory. The 2-2 Eagles were already dealing with Ronald Darby’s week-to-week hamstring injury and Jalen Mills’ lingering foot injury. Philadelphia did sign Orlando Scandrick, who they released before the season, on Friday to help with the injury crisis.

The Eagles’ defense struggled with Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers and wide receiver Davante Adams, who pulled in 180 of Green Bay’s 422 passing yards. Adams finished with 10 receptions before exiting in the fourth quarter with a toe injury.

Along with the Eagles, the Ravens and the Chiefs are among eight teams inquiring about Ramsey, per The Athletic.
