Chris Long doesn’t want Nick Foles to be the Giants’ next quarterback — if the defensive end is back with the Eagles.

If not, well, all bets are off.

“I would hate to see him with the Giants just because I hate playing my friends, and if I end up back in Philly I’d have to play him twice a year,” Long told NJ Advance Media in Atlanta.

“But I think whoever gets him is going to be very lucky. He’s a leader. He’s a franchise-type quarterback. The tough thing is we have another franchise quarterback, a guy who is homegrown and is going to be a great player for a long time to come.”

Foles will be one of the top free-agent quarterbacks on the market after taking over for an injured Carson Wentz for the second straight season. Last year it resulted in a Super Bowl win, and while this year’s comeback ended in the divisional round, the 30-year-old Foles has likely shown enough to land a big contract with another team.

Whether the Giants try to address their issue at quarterback through free agency, though, remains to be seen, as the fate of 38-year-old Eli Manning hangs in the balance.

A more likely scenario, according to The Post’s Paul Schwartz, would be drafting their QB of the future this year and having Manning groom him to take over in 2020.
