The top free agents are coming off the board quickly now.

ESPN.com reported that the Ravens and safety Earl Thomas have agreed to a four-year, $55 million deal with $32 million guaranteed. Thomas becomes the Ravens’ splash after they failed to retain star inside linebacker C.J. Mosley, who signed with the Jets on Tuesday.

Thomas was one of the original members of the Seahawks’ vaunted “Legion of Boom” that carried the franchise to a Super Bowl XLVIII triumph. Thomas, a six-time Pro Bowler, was in a contract dispute with Seattle last offseason and broke his leg in the fourth game of the season, giving the Seahawks sideline the middle finger as he was carted off.

The Cowboys were long rumored to have interest in Thomas.
