Here’s how I plan on taking home the $100,000 jackpot:

Lions at Bears (-3)

Roar? Growl? Black & blue division rivals have both taken their lumps this season. Bears are 5-6 after opening 5-1. Lions 4-7 after their latest Turkey Day basting cost head coach Matt Patricia his job. Chicago’s Matt Nagy may be next if he can’t get his team back to .500. QB Mitchell Trubisky was pulled in favor of Nick Foles who could not move the stagnant offense before an injury sidelined him. Trubisky moved the chains upon his return but the losing skid is intact. Odds are he and Detroit’s Matt Stafford may not be around next season. Defensively the Lions 328 points against is second worst in the NFC. Bears exhausted “D” may get a breather this week and Coach Nagy is 5-0 against the Lions.

The pick: Bears by 7-9.

Saints (-2.5) at Falcons

The Brees-less Saints breezed past the quarterback-less Broncos (the equivalent of a Bye-week W), improving their record to 9-2, best in the NFC. They’ve now won eight straight and twice without their Super Bowl-winning QB who is recovering from multiple broken ribs as well as a collapsed lung. Brees may be back in time for the playoffs. Meantime Sean Payton decided to start burly Taysom Hill over mistake prone Jameis Winston. They’ll have to play a team with a real QB this week. Last week Atlanta’s Matt Ryan slayed Jon “Chucky” Gruden’s Raiders, making it look like “Child’s Play” in a 43-6 beatdown. Dirty Birds won’t overcome their 0-5 start, but they’re now a respectable 4-7.

The pick: Falcons by 3-4

Broncos at Chiefs (-13.5)

The defending Super Bowl champs are 10-1 after “getting by” Tom Brady’s backdoor-covering Bucs by 3. The outcome was never in doubt but the GOAT’s late-game heroics cost this handicapper a pretty penny. Patrick Mahomes threw for 462 yards and three TDs, becoming an overwhelming favorite to win MVP honors. Broncos are expected to have a true QB under center this week. Sarah Fuller wasn’t available last week so Kendall Hinton (1/9, 13 yards) played, inadequately, although Sam Darnold must have been impressed. KC is rolling and they have defeated Denver 10 straight. Make it 11.

The pick: Chiefs by 10-14

Rams (-3) at Cardinals

Shouldering the blame this week after rumors swirled about his bum shoulder, Kyler Murray said he wasn’t compromised in their loss to New England. Truth is the Cards let Bill Belichick’s Patriots hang around and were eventually upset in Foxborough. Damaging loss dropped Arizona to 6-5 and if it weren’t for the “Hail Murray” to beat the Bills their playoff hopes would be on life support. As for L.A., Aaron Donald spearheads one of the best defenses in the NFL but the Rams inconsistent offense has slowed the otherwise elite Rams to 7-4. Two of those losses were at the hands of the rival 49ers. Rams have had no such trouble with the Red Birds, having beat them six in a row. Till now.

The pick: Cardinals by 3-4

Giants at Seahawks (-10)

Are you buying what the Giants are selling? New York has ridden a modest three-game winning streak to the top of the NFC Least under no-nonsense coach Joe Judge and a defense that continues to improve. But the Giants have one of the most anemic offenses in the NFL (and that was prior to Daniel Jones tweaking his hammy) and the schedule suggests there are no more tomato cans to kick around. If Jones can’t go Colt McCoy will. Seattle can score, but so can their opponent. High octane offense is led by MVP candidate Russell Wilson but their once formidable “D” has been, well, generous at best. The unit will be glad to see McCoy and the Giants. Hawks are 8-3, and 5-0 at home. Can’t envision the Giants blemishing that mark.

The pick: Seahawks by 10-14

Washington at Steelers (-8)

We all know where this is going, right? The only undefeated team left in football, the Steelers are heading towards an AFC Final showdown with the Chiefs. Stingy “D” has evoked memories of the Steel Curtain and Big Ben Rothlesberger has taken advantage, leading an opportunistic offense that is consistently handed a short field to navigate. Good story out of D.C. as new head coach Ron Rivera has the WFT (4-7) tied atop the NFC east. Overmatched, but they may keep this one close with the Steelers coming off the weird Wednesday affair with the Ravens.

The pick: Steelers by 7-9
