Cooper Kupp is staying in the NFC West but heading north. The ex-Rams star is signing a three-year contract worth $45 million with the Seahawks, according to multiple reports.
Kupp is a Yakima, Wash., native who attended Eastern Washington, so this move is a homecoming for the 2021 All-Pro wideout.
“Washington back across my chest. Let’s go!!!!!” Kupp shared in a post on X that included a photo of him edited into a Seahawks jersey.

For Kupp, the deal with Seattle concludes what has been a tumultuous last few weeks in which the Rams tried to trade him.
Ultimately, Los Angeles was not able to find a trading partner and instead released Kupp at the start of free agency, saving the team $15 million in cap space for 2025.
Kupp, at his best and healthiest, is one of the top wide receivers in football.
Cooper Kupp (10) walks on the sideline during an NFL football game in Arlington, Texas, Sunday, Nov. 29, 2023 APHis best year came in 2021, when he led the NFL with 145 catches, 1,947 receiving yards and 16 touchdown grabs.
He put a perfect bow on that season, winning Super Bowl MVP with eight catches and two touchdowns as the Rams beat the Bengals.
But since winning the big game, Kupp has battled injuries and not played in more than 12 regular-season games in each of the past three seasons.
An ankle injury limited Kupp to 12 games this past season, though he still hauled in 67 catches for 710 yards.
“I feel like I’ve got a lot of good football left in me,” Kupp told reporters after this season concluded. “I’ll be playing football next year. That much I know.”
