Sell high
Teddy Bridgewater QB, Saints
This would have been an easier sell last week. But if you had to grab him, see if you can find that fantasy owner who conflates real wins with fantasy success.
Leonard Fournette RB, Jaguars
Coming off a 225-yard performance, find an owner who will overpay. Reminder: This was his first 100-yard game since 2017. Sell it as return to 2017 dominance, knowing 2018 mediocrity is just as possible.
Darrel Williams RB, Chiefs
Expect Damien Williams to return soon. That will send Darrel back to the sideline. Two TDs Sunday looked nice, but also had just 13 yards on eight carries.
Jarvis Landry WR, Browns
Huge Week 4 (eight catches for 167 yards) will attract some attention. Market value likely will have returned to about where his draft value was. If you can get that kind of return, do it.
Buy low
Tom Brady QB, Patriots
He hasn’t been a fantasy force in a while, but upcoming schedule is cake — Redskins, Giants, Jets, Browns, Ravens — and the running game has been suspect.
David Montgomery RB, Bears
Workload is growing (21 carries Sunday). Not every defense will be as stiff as the Vikings (just 53 yards, 2.5 per carry). With Mitchell Trubisky likely out for a bit, Bears could lean more heavily on the run.
Devonta Freeman RB, Falcons
Has suffered huge drop in performance. But it isn’t just him. Falcons as a whole have been a disaster. Gamble on them working it out. Too much talent to continue to struggle.
Ronald Jones RB, Buccaneers
Sunday explosion had little to do with the running game. But upcoming opponents will be focusing more on a rising passing threat, which will open running lanes. Stash him.
