The DVQ (Draft Value Quotient) is the formula the Fantasy Madman uses to evaluate the draft value and fantasy football ranking of players across a uniform platform.

Each player is rated based on projected points and evaluated based on how they stack up to others at the same position. Using this uniform points projection, we measure it against the expected point production of each pick in the draft, creating a uniform rating that reflects a draft value for each individual player.

The ratings reflect the overall DVQ ratings — at what point in the draft that player’s projected output meets the projected output of a particular draft position. Since many more players are projected for similar production at the bottom of the draft, if charted, the DVQ would show a steep decline from the top and curving to flatten out near pick 192.
