Make sure to set your fantasy football lineups for Week 13 before the turkey coma sets in on Thursday.
Below are some good plays for this week, as well as some other NFL players you should consider avoiding based on matchups, injuries and trends.

Who to Start
— Kyler Murray, Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams (QB): Murray put up a nice stat line in Week 11 against a stout 49ers defense. He went 24-for-33 with 150 yards and two touchdowns, along with 67 yards on the ground and a rushing touchdown. This week he faces off against the Rams, who were just annihilated 45-6 in primetime against the Ravens. Murray has top-tier QB1 potential this week.
— Jamaal Williams, Green Bay Packers at New York Giants (RB): Williams had 11 touches against San Francisco in Week 12, and his involvement in the passing game gives him a nice floor, especially in PPR. Expect him to put up some nice fantasy production in Week 13 against an abysmal Giants defense.
— Miles Sanders, Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins (RB): Sanders, Jay Ajayi and Boston Scott have been sharing work since Jordan Howard has been sidelined with a stinger. The rookie saw twice as many rushing attempts as Ajayi, and was targeted five times in Week 12. He goes from one of the hardest matchups in the Seahawks to arguably the easiest and is a borderline RB2 this week.
— Jarvis Landry, Cleveland Browns at Pittsburgh Steelers (WR): Landry reeled in four of seven targets for 43 yards and a touchdown when these two teams first met. He also had a huge Week 12 against Miami and caught 10 of 13 targets for 148 yards and two touchdowns, and has scored in four consecutive games. Expect big numbers in the helmet revenge match.

This is Parker’s ninth game this year with at least 55 yards. Without competition from Preston Williams, and new injuries to Albert Wilson and Jakeem Grant, Parker will continue to be a low-end WR2. Start him against the hobbled Eagles secondary this week.
— Ryan Griffin, New York Jets at Cincinnati Bengals (TE): Griffin has inched his way into TE1 territory with quarterback Sam Darnold playing better and Chris Herndon on season-ending injured reserve. He scored for the second game in a row last week and caught all three of his targets. He has a great matchup this week against the winless Bengals.
— Carolina Panthers D/ST vs. Washington Redskins: After a hot start, the Panthers defense has been bad in four of their past five games, which might make owners wary of trusting them. That said, they are facing a banged up Dwayne Haskins and a seemingly apathetic Redskins team that probably will not put up much of a fight. Carolina is a top play in Week 13.
Who to Sit
— David Johnson, Arizona Cardinals vs. Los Angeles Rams (RB): Johnson laid a goose egg in Week 11 against the 49ers, and it does not help that rookie Chase Edmonds is back at practice. This Cardinals’ running back committee is about to be a three-headed monster, with Johnson competing for touches with both Kenyan Drake and Edmonds. He cannot be trusted anymore given his health and competition.
— Carson Wentz, Philadelphia Eagles at Miami Dolphins (QB): It should speak volumes when a quarterback is not a good start against the Dolphins, but that’s where Wentz’s season is at this point. He is coming off of a four-turnover outing against Seattle which he briefly exited due to a hand injury. The Eagles quarterback has not put up good fantasy numbers in six of his past seven games and falls outside of QB1 consideration this week.
— Royce Freeman, Denver Broncos vs. Los Angeles Chargers (RB): Freeman’s workload has been dwindling while Phillip Lindsay has taken control of the Broncos’ backfield. He had two rushes for 20 yards last week in Buffalo and is a low-floor flex play moving forward.
— Emmanuel Sanders, San Francisco 49ers at Baltimore Ravens (WR): Sanders has been battling a rib injury and is clearly still not 100%. He had one target and it looked like he was merely a decoy for the second week in a row. He has not had a good game since joining the 49ers in Week 9. Sit Sanders until he looks healthy again.
— Corey Davis, Tennessee Titans at Indianapolis Colts (WR): It was A.J. Brown, not Davis, who dominated target share and yardage in Week 12. Davis had three targets in comparison to Brown’s five, and caught two passes for 29 yards. Both receivers are dart-throw selections at this point.
— Darren Fells, Houston Texans vs. New England Patriots (TE): Fells has three catches in the past three games total, and has been a total dud in the two weeks since the Texans’ bye. He is a touchdown-dependent tight end and will have his toughest matchup of the year in Week 13 against the immutable Patriots defense. He falls far outside the TE1 conversation this week.
— Jacksonville Jaguars D/ST vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: The Jaguars defense is allowing an average of 34 points per game since Week 9 and was just lit up by Ryan Tannehill in Week 12. It’s true that Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston is a turnover machine, but their pass-happy offense should rack up a lot of points. Sit the Jacksonville D/ST if you have better options.
