The Mike White Show lives on at MetLife Stadium. The Jets’ newest beloved QB will get at least one more chance to dazzle the home fans on Sunday against the division rival Bills. With Zach Wilson getting close to 100% for a potential return, this could be the finale for White under center in the 2021 season and maybe beyond — that’s if he doesn’t put on another brilliant performance. If White leads the Jets to another win over a first-place team, the show must go on… and White must continue being the starting QB.
To talk White, everything Jets and preview Sunday’s game, we bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast with me and Brian Costello. We were joined by one of the all-time great NFL fullbacks who was a key part of the last Jets playoff team in 2009-2010, Tony Richardson.
Gang’s All Here Podcast with Jake & Coz:
- JETS NEWS & NOTES: Could this be the final game for White? How much longer will he start? When will Wilson be 100% ready? Braden Mann is back at punter. Thomas Morstead did a solid job in his place. Will Denzel Mims play Sunday? Corey Davis is back and ready to go. Mike LaFleur calling the plays from the box. Does that make a huge difference? The Jets have won the Sam Darnold trade. No idea why the Panthers picked up his $18 million option next year.
- BILLS @ JETS PREVIEW: The Jets will keep it much closer than the 13-point spread. Bills are coming into this game angry after an embarrassing loss to the Jaguars. Something is not clicking right now with the Bills. We both say Bills win, but Coz says 24-23 and I say 27-24.

Tony Richardson Interview: Former Jets fullback (2008-2010), 3-time Pro Bowler with Chiefs, Vikings, Northeast Coordinator for NFL Legends Community#
- RETIREMENT: Working with players leaving the game and figuring out what they want to do after their career. Some players struggle with their post-playing career and living a different lifestyle and figuring out what they want to do.
- WHITE/WILSON: If Wilson is healthy he has to play. He has to develop and get better. Wonder what situation would be if we saw White last year or prior and how the Darnold situation would have worked out.
- 2009-2010 JETS: Those teams had an identity. The current Jets do not. Wished they could have got over the top. Spoke with Rex Ryan and it still maddens him they could not put one more run together the following year. Wish they could have ran it back with same guys and made a Super Bowl.
- BIG CONTRACTS: Some players check out when they get a new big contract. Santonio Holmes was not as locked in when he got a new deal.
