These Jets ain’t a fluke.

Jets

Going into Lambeau Field and winning 27-10 over the Packers is called making a statement. This is no fugazi win. This is real. These Jets look like they could be something special. Their defense absolutely stifled Aaron Rodgers as well as the Packers’ run game. Their coaching has improved. They continue making halftime adjustments and playing better in the second half of games. This is an easy team to root for.

To break down the Jets’ win in Green Bay and the state of the team right now, we bring you a new episode of the “Gang’s All Here” podcast. I was joined by special guest co-hosts former Jets safety and MSG Network betting analyst Erik Coleman and fellow Jets podcaster Matt O’Leary. Gang’s All Here Podcast with Jake Brown and guest co-hosts Erik Coleman & Matt O’Leary:

  • THE BREECE HALL/O-LINE SHOW: He was just phenomenal and was a terrific draft pick in the second round. It seemed like every time he got the ball it was for seven or more yards. Give a lot of credit to the offensive line, which has been patched together through injuries. Duane Brown was a huge piece to revitalizing this unit. Alijah Vera-Tucker has played fantastic at multiple positions.
  • WILLIAMS FAMILY AFFAIR: Quinnen Williams had his best game as Jet. His brother Quincy Williams led the Jets’ defense Sunday in tackles. Quinnen has stepped up as well thanks to strong play from the Jets defensive ends. Micheal Clemons is a scary man, but he’s the guy you want on your side. That special teams block was huge.
  • 4-2 JETS POSITIVE VIBES: Something different is in the air with this team. Perception is one thing, but the Jets on paper are right there with the other top teams. They don’t have many weak spot. That game on Oct. 30 against the Patriots at MetLife Stadium will be a must-go-to game for Jets fans.
  • ZACH WILSON, CERTIFIED GAME MANAGER: Can the Jets keep winning with their QB as a game manager? Eventually he will have to make plays like he did against the Steelers late in the game.
  • GREAT COACHING: Mike LaFleur out-coached his brother Matt. He drew up some fantastic play calls. That trap run for a TD from Hall was tremendous. The tight end screen to C.J. Uzomah was perfect. Give Robert Saleh a lot of credit. This team has made halftime adjustments. He’s backing up the “keeping receipts” comments that many of us critiqued him on earlier in the season.
  • GAME BALLS: Coleman gives his game ball to both the Williams brothers. Matt gives his to Hall for setting the tone offensively. I give mine to Mike LaFleur for coaching up the offense and making second half adjustments.
