I can’t get enough of hearing that. Four straight wins. The Jets hold one of the best records in football. It’s music to the ears of Jets fans who have been waiting for a truly competent, winning football team for a long time now. It’s the best Jets start to a season since 2010, when they made the AFC Championship game. While it’s been ugly for many of them, they are still finding ways to win football games…and that’s what counts.
Unfortunately we can never have nice things though. The Jets ended up losing Breece Hall to a torn ACL and their favorite for Offensive Rookie of the Year is done for the season. How will the Jets fill the void for their starting running back? We answer that and break down the defense carrying Gang Green to the 16-9 win in Denver on the latest “Gang’s All Here” podcast with Brian Costello and me.

- UGLY WIN, BUT YOU TAKE IT: The Jets found a way once again to win a game with the defense carrying them to victory. Jets caught another break getting to go up against Brett Rypien. They have caught some luck this year playing some backup QBs, but you don’t apologize for wins in the NFL. The Jets are showing they are road warriors, where they are 4-0 this season.
- BREECE DONE: Mixed emotions after a win. Losing your stud rookie starting running back is a tough blow for an offense that he’s carried. Can Michael Carter fill the void? Looks like we will see some Ty Johnson and the debut of Bam Knight, who Jets fans fell in love with in preseason.
- TRADES: Should the Jets make a trade before the Nov. 1 deadline for a running back? Do they go after a receiver?
- ELIJAH MOORE SAGA: Should the Jets trade Moore after he asked for one?
- JETS-PATRIOTS: This is one of the biggest Jets-Pats games in a long time. Jets should be wearing black jerseys. Luckily, the jersey combos have not mattered this year, because the Jets keep winning games.
