A ways below the Russell Wilson and Deshaun Watson level, there is a third NFL starting quarterback who might be traded this offseason.

The Jaguars have gotten a few phone calls on Gardner Minshew, NFL Network reported.

Minshew split starting duties with Mike Glennon and Jake Luton last season in Jacksonville, with none of the three distinguishing himself. However, there is still some intrigue in the 24-year-old cult hero who spawned Minshew Mania in a surprisingly formidable rookie season taking over for an injured Nick Foles.

He will not be the starting quarterback for the Jaguars next season, with the team undoubtedly using the No. 1 pick on Clemson star Trevor Lawrence.

Through two seasons, Minshew has thrown for 5,530 yards, 37 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. It is unclear which teams inquired about Minshew.

The Broncos, Jets and Patriots are among the teams that could be in need of competition at starting quarterback.
