Eli Manning. Lots of worthy candidates, but once again Manning shows that his durability makes him so valuable. Tossed three TD passes, no interceptions and was in complete control.

UNSUNG HERO

Rich Seubert. In his 10 years with the Giants had never started a game at center until yesterday. There were no mishaps on the exchanges with Manning, showing again that Seubert is a real gamer.

Charlie Whitehurst. His first NFL start was one to forget. He didn’t have any help but he certainly didn’t look ready to operate a big-league offense as he threw two interceptions and couldn’t generate any points until the fourth quarter.

KEY MOMENT

When the Giants’ team charter landed safely on Saturday and again when the team buses arrived safely at Qwest Field. As Woody Allen says, 80 percent of success is just showing up.
