CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Giants cornerback Corey Webster played in the second half of Thursday night’s 36-7 victory over the Panthers with a hard cast on his right hand after breaking his hand during the game.

Webster said he wasn’t sure when the injury happened. He got into a wrestling match with Panthers receiver Steve Smith during the game and Webster said he was unsure if that is when he hurt his hand.

The Giants have 10 days until they play again and Webster said he doesn’t expect to miss any time.
