Giants co-owner Steve Tisch threw his support behind Robert Kraft as he battles solicitation of prostitution charges — insisting that his close pal’s public apology “came from his heart.”

Tisch spoke out about the New England Patriots owner, who was one of hundreds of alleged johns ensnared in a prostitution and human trafficking sting in Florida, as the NFL’s Annual League Meeting got underway Sunday.

“I think what Robert said yesterday very publicly, I think it came from his heart,” Tisch said, according to Newsday. “I think he was really addressing his family, his team, his players, his friends and Patriots fans. And, I think, in some ways, 31 other team owners. It’s probably very, very tough for him to make those statements.”

Tisch’s co-owner, John Mara, declined to comment on Kraft’s legal woes, only saying, “What good could possibly come out of commenting on that?”

He then ribbed Tisch for his comments on Kraft.

“I guess you didn’t take my lead on the no-comment,” he told Tisch.

On Saturday, Kraft broke his silence since the bombshell bust.

“I am truly sorry. I know I have hurt and disappointed my family, my close friends, my co-workers, our fans and many others who rightfully hold me to a higher standard,” the 77-year-old billionaire said in a statement.
