Giants fans might be able to do their Black Friday shopping and watch football all in one place the day after Thanksgiving.

For the first time this year, the NFL is scheduling a game on the Friday of Thanksgiving weekend, and Giants vs. Eagles is “the leader in the clubhouse” for the Nov. 24 game which will be an Amazon Prime Video-exclusive broadcast, according to NBC Sports’ Peter King.

King adds the matchup being played that day is “absolutely not set in stone.”

The “Football Morning in America” columnist also speculated that the Jets could open the season on Sunday or Monday night now that Aaron Rodgers is their quarterback.

It’s unclear where the Giants-Eagles game would be played, or whether it would be the teams’ first or second meeting of the season, but it would be a rematch of this past season’s Divisional Round contest in which the Eagles crushed the Giants en route to a Super Bowl appearance.

ESPN reported Sunday that the NFL is targeting May 11 to release its full 2023 schedule.

The NFL announced in October that Amazon would be the home for its new Black Friday game starting this year, with the kickoff for the game expected to be 3 p.m.

In 2022, Amazon began its 11-year deal worth more than $11 billion as the new home of “Thursday Night Football,” becoming the first streaming service to air a season-long package of games.

“Thursday Night Football” also aired on over-the-air TV stations in the home markets of the two participating teams last season.

Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit called “Thursday Night Football” during Amazon’s first season streaming NFL games.

The Giants lost to the Cowboys in Arlington, Texas on Thanksgiving Day last season and are 7-6-3 all-time on Thanksgiving.

This year, they could be part of the NFL’s new Thanksgiving weekend spotlight.
