Giants and Jets players will wear decals on their helmets this weekend in remembrance of the lives lost in Newtown, Conn., mass shooting Friday morning.

All players will have the initials S.H.E.S. (Sandy Hook Elementary School) on the back of their helmets, NFL.com reports. Newtown is just 60 miles northeast of New York City. A gunman there murdered 20 students between the ages of 5 and 10 years old and six adults before apparently killing himself.

The Giants play the Falcons on Sunday afternoon, while the Jets meet the Titans on Monday night.

The NFL has asked home teams to observe a moment of silence before the national anthem at all games this weekend.
