The Giants are in a good position Thursday with the 11th pick. But what position will they address? Do they give Daniel Jones more help up front and take a hog molly to block for him? Do they get a pup playmaker for Jones to throw to on the outside like Heisman Trophy winner Devonta Smith? Do they go for a pass rusher?
We debate what the Giants will do in the 2021 NFL Draft on the latest “Blue Rush” podcast with Paul Schwartz and two-time Super Bowl champion kicker Lawrence Tynes. Giants assistant GM and VP of Football Operations Kevin Abrams also joins us.
Blue Rush Podcast with Paul, Lawrence, Jake & Sarah:
- 11TH PICK: Who will the Giants take with the 11th pick on Thursday in the NFL Draft? Do they go with a WR in Devonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle? Do they go offensive line? Do they surprise us and go with a cornerback? Pass rusher?
- REST OF DRAFT/NEEDS: Giants still need to bolster their offensive line. They could also use a pass rusher, but top of board doesn’t have many elite players at that position. Lots of receivers on board. Tynes think the Giants could float Evan Engram out there in a draft day trade. Can they find a way to trade up and land Kyle Pitts? Does Daniel Jones need more playmakers?
